Family Meetings

Del Amo Gardens holds family meetings every other month to keep families updated on what's new in the facility, the long-term care community or whatever topics that may be of interest or concern to them. Occasionally, we also invite speakers to serve as resource persons on certain topics that attendees may have questions about. Please call our Social Services Director at (310) 378-4233 for more information.

To all families and friends of our residents, we recommend joining the Families & Friends of Long Term Care (FFLTC) Program of the California Association of Health Facilities (CAHF). Members of the FFLTC can get easy access to information targeted for long-term care families and friends. Membership is free. Ask our Social Services Director for an application form or visit the CAHF website at www.cahf.org.

Resident Council Meetings

We also hold Resident Council Meetings which serves as a forum for the residents to voice out their concerns and questions about the facility to the management team.

Volunteer Program

Here at Del Amo Gardens, we are always looking for bright and caring volunteers, young or old, who are ready to lend a helping hand to our social services staff. If you or anyone else you know is interested, please contact our Activities Director at (310) 378-4233.
